FRAMED EWE Optical and Recordbar Radio present POV, our monthly Spotify playlist series curated, compiled and arranged by Recordbar Radio.

Each playlist is lovingly crafted to inspire and reflect the mood of a certain situation, place, time, or feeling; giving each playlist its own unique point of view. A new playlist drops at the beginning of every month on FRAMED EWE Optical's Spotify channel.

The heat rises but does not cease, ever. Minds slowly, steadily being driven to madness and brilliance all at once...

Record high temperatures give way to blurry mirages of hope in the distance on 'Heat Haze', a distress signal in playlist form captured by joyful selector @jordanrowley of @recordbarradio. Jangling rock attitude swings a swagger that screams "enough is enough" over angular guitars and punching drums. The march of cumbia leads us further down this dusty path deep into the night where we come alive. Blinking synth blips and electro pulsing beats give a sense of coolness and hope. Chill out?? No way, there's literally now way! We're riding this lazy daze into the end of summer days... may as well at least try to get comfortable, even to the idea that we won't be for a couple months more.

This playlist features music from Los Esplifs, Vundabar, Fila Brazillia, Black Moth Super Rainbow, Thomie, Jon Kennedy and more. Listen now on the Framed Ewe Spotify channel.
