Your ideal day is spent?
On the road. Traveling out of the city in the middle of the night and watching the sun come up somewhere quiet - somewhere new - the middle of nowhere. Find a small diner for a 2 egg breakfast and burnt coffee. Keep traveling. Hike along some water. Sleep under the sky.
